Jeremy Berhmann
Jeremy Behrmann has one simple mission. To show people that they can create a unique vocation that supports their own set of passions, values and abilities and that the only limit on their wealth and hapiness, are their own authentic principles guiding how a fulfilled life should be lived. Second to this, is Jeremy’s belief that the vocational aspirations of employees represent the greatest source of engagement, innovation and leadership available to organisations.
As a coach, facilitator, motivational speaker and all round entrepreneur, Jeremy is able to engage with organisations on various levels to help them nurture the vocational aspirations of their stakeholders and align them more effectively with the values and strategies of the organisations they represent. Jeremy has presented at some of South Africa’s top development forums including the African Creativity Conference, the Innovation Summit, Education Week and EAPA.
He is a practitioner of the CPSI Creative Problem Solving Model which is endorsed by the Creative Education Foundation. For 3 years, he worked with RedZebra, an organisation that has worked in over 65 countries around the world and uses various musical and creative facilitation modalities to engage a wide variety of audiences around team building and leadership.He has a Masters in Business Studies and Economics from Edinburgh University and has completed certificates in Entrepreneurship and Business Leadership with the Real Institute of Sustainable Entrepreneurship. His coaching training was completed at the Coaching Centre where he was mentored by many of the country’s top practitioners. He is registered member of COMENSA, the Coaching and Mentoring Association of South Africa, which supports the development of coaching ethics and practice in the country.
He understands that to inspire people you need to have walked your talk, and as a result, Jeremy has made a sustainable business out of every one of his passions and he shares the tools, experience and insights that he has gained on the way.
His passion for personal and organisational development saw him develop Elixir, an organisation that uses coaching, training and various facilitated processes to drive the triple bottom line of organisations. Recognising that he had a huge passion for nature, travel and the transformative power of wilderness, he created the Elixir Experience, which takes people on journeys to some of the most amazing natural locations on Earth. The Elixir Experience has seen Jeremy take groups to the Himalayas, the Scottish Highlands and various wilderness Mecca’s around South Africa on strategic retreats, team buildings and vocational development quests.
A DJ from a young age, he has played in clubs all over the world and through his Resonance production company, he has organised events in South Africa and the United Kingdom.
There is no shortage of new ideas that Jeremy is developing. He feels very strongly in the value of innovation driven entrepreneurship and to this end he has designed a way of making beach bats a competitive sport and is working towards making it a global sport. He combined his passion for Golf and Travel to create the first ocean based extreme 9 hole golf course through sourcing eco friendly that dissolve in water and are completely non toxic.
